Sound healing is exceptionally effective at quieting the heart and mind. The Peter Hess Method of Sound Massage is designed to recreate the same sense of trust we ideally felt inside our mother’s womb. Sound healing builds our capacity for deep listening. Over time, we become more attuned to the internal messages our bodies send us. We also become more sensitive to the sounds of nature, of which we are a part.
A sound massage is about an hour long. You will lie on a massage table fully clothed, while specially designed Peter Hess bowls made in Nepal are placed on vaious parts of your body and softly rung in a sequence designed for maximum relaxtion. Some people fall asleep during their session. This is fine! The vibrations created by the bowls will do their gentle work on your body whether asleep or awake.
When you come for a sound massage, a dedicated studio building awaits you with private bathroom and beautiful gardens to view or relax in after your session. If you would like to schedule a sound massage, please indicate a couple of options for your preferred day and time. Allow a total of 90 minutes for an hour long session plus some time on either side for conversation. Unless travelling, I am available any day between 9am and 8pm. Sound massage is $110 payable by cash, Venmo, or personal check at the time of service.
